Tayong Lahat.
I DO NOT ASK FOR YOUR VOTES.
I only ask that you do not decide based on emotions or on blind idealism.
I ask that you bank your decision not on the paraphernalia you receive but rather on the effectiveness of the leadership you will be receiving.
I challenge you to look deeper into the issues you see and recognize the true causes of each one. Inquire; do not be swayed by others’ ignorance.
I ask you to consider choosing substance over form, platform over personality, genuine leaders over political speakers.
I ask that you consider progress over cynicism, solutions over complaints, and evolution over revolution.
I ask you to put in power the people who know how to respond to your needs, rather than those who can only react to negative impulses.
I dare you to choose a set of leaders that can provide you with the representation you deserve, a set of leaders that does not confuse its purpose and responsibilities with those of others.
I dare you to choose a set of leaders who know how to deliver the services that you deserve, not one which bases its perception of reality on the articles in a newspaper.
I ask you to choose real answers and possible solutions based on sound principles, rather than pretentious howling about what should be.
I ask that you realize that we have fought long and hard to be your leaders. So I ask that you be wise enough to understand that you are not voting for “top best friends.”
I ask you to understand that I do not run alone; that, rather, I run with a team, and we run as a family; and, that I am truly incomplete without my family.
I do not ask for your votes.
I only ask that you think critically and decide if there is any other choice.
Because I have done all of these. And I have chosen DERECHO.
